How Often Do You Party?

"Party" defined:-

1. A social gathering of invited guests.

2. An organized political group that puts forward candidates to be elected for government.

3. A group of people taking part in an activity or trip

4. A person or a group forming one side in an agreement or dispute


5. "formal":-------Enjoy oneself with others by drinking, dancing, etc .

Every day above ground is a good one and my presence in said day(s) makes me a grateful celebrant of each and every one. Partying for me in the past entailed appointments specifically for ingesting various intoxicants, but no more. The gift that is this day is intoxicating in and of itself.

Since Halloween is my birthday it should be a party day and in a sense it is. The joy in knowing so many youngsters help me celebrate every year gives me hope for the (bright) future of our species.

Once a month if I'm lucky haha. Last time I partied was New Years Eve. And I actually partied hardy that night.

I don't drink to get drunk, and it seems like everyone wants to smoke way more than me. So I'm left with enjoying some herb, some tobacco and a little beer. Sometimes rum in various drinks, but that's rare.

I like sleeping, playing guitar, and turning bolts on motorized things a lot more than getting messed up every chance I get. Cigarettes are about as wild as I get on a regular basis. And that's once a day, if that.

Well, I do generally rock & roll all night so I suppose I am obligated to party every day. I am not a man imbued with a level of hubris that would allow me to buck such long standing tradition even if I wanted to.

Havent been drunk in almost 20 years, i've never done any drugs, and i don't like being around people i don't know (or well, i dont like the expectation of being social with people i dont know) and i more or less don't know anyone... So...yeah i don't party. This was never my definition of having fun.

From ages 16-23ish, I was boozin and druggin all too often. One day when I was I started to weep uncontrollably and punch walls after i couldn't find any of my favorite substance at the time, I decided that I'd had enough. Since then, a weekly getogether with close friends and a few drinks is more than enough to me.

I'm a responsible adult these days. The times of excess are now done in moderation. Even the excess itself is moderated now. But there shall be excess!!

"Party" is a relative term. If I'm playing a show or a literal party, I'm going to hang out and have a drink; to me that counts as partying. If I'm hanging with my friends for the evening and having a drink or two, to me that's partying. But I don't do the whole dozens of people in a house, throw stuff in the pool partying anymore.
