Started when I got a guitar for my 15th birthday in 1965. Started learning bass parts soon after. Got my first bass in 1969, first good bass in 1973.

I've been playing instruments and music almost literally since birth. I'm fifteen now, I've been playing bass for almost 4 years. Of all the instruments I play (which is a lot), bass always has been (or at least, has been since I started playing) and probably always will be my favorite.
