You don’t have to strip down the original finish. That would be a lot of unnecessary work. You already have a sealed body. Just rough up the original finish with some 400 grit sandpaper, thoroughly clean off the sanding dust, and shoot it with the black paint.Should I strip down my 2010 Squier CV-P in sonic blue and paint it black
