My SO has a wall of lacquer. Like an actual literal wall of different colors. Sometimes she's asked me what color I think would look good. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't recommended she use some fender colors, surf green etc

I love swamp ash with a transparent finish. I gave up clear nail polish because nobody ever noticed it, but they did notice I had gotten high applying it.

A natural finish rosewood top & a literal bloody finger.
Cut it changing batteries in UPSs earlier.

Nothing like a little blood running running down an instrument to let the world know, “This is one Bad Ass!”.

Being honest, I’n not real big on colored nail polish, but that is a KILLER shade of red on the bass.

YES!! Strictly between us, and don’t tell anyone, but it’s a brilliant remedy for aging, splitting nails. The badass bit is a happy side effect!

Now I know why a vocalist friend of mine always wears silvery nail polish.
It matches his microphone. Not sure if it's something he consciously came up with or it's just something he does subconsciously.
Sorry, no pics, so the rule here is; It never happened. Next chance I get I'll get a picture.
