In an effort to better manage communication with TB users, I have decided to disable my Private Messages. To contact me or to contact TB about any issue from complaints to requests, please scroll down to the bottom of any page on TalkBass and hit the "contact us" link.

The reason I'm doing this is the forum PM system is frankly very simple and limited. When you get as many PM's as I do, it becomes very hard to track conversations, and impossible to reference past conversations. I end up accidentally ignoring many users, and my PM load has only been going up along with our traffic numbers.

My email app by contrast is very efficient at managing messages, and makes things so much easier for me :)

Thanks!

(Moderators: You are still able to PM me, and I would encourage you to continue to do so.)

Hi Paul
I’m a member of TalkBass.
I’m having trouble finding 2 things:
1) How to contact TalkBass help desk.
2) How to check my membership status.
(I just renewed and wanted to make sure it reflected on my account).
Thanks
Alan

If you scroll to the bottom of the screen you should see a "connect" section with options for twitter, facebook, itunes and email. The email one will send a message to admins. There's also a "contact us" link to the right of that, above where it says "support talkbass!" and a help link is also there, along with terms and rules. Your membership status should show right under your avatar - right in this thread, it shows you as a supporting member. Also at the top right of the page you should see your user ID and avatar, and the drop down menu there includes the link to your profile page.

What setting do I tick to get the weekly email I used to get?
