HUGE EGO! Be honest with yourself. If you are still young.....that ego is there. If you are a geezer, you just want to sit on a stool and hope the blood keeps pumping. Ego has always driven players that want to be on stage. NOBODY joins a band that desires to be on stage. You didn't work your butt off to NOT be noticed or heard. FAME figures into there too. If you want fame....that's ego....chicks....ego, applause....ego. EVERYBODY should have a MONSTER EGO and get others in the band who have (Hopefully) a monster ego as well that will be able to be handled by all of the other egos. The best bands tend to happen that way. They make for the best "VH-1 Behind The Music" specials. Who wants to hear about the Jazz trio in the dark at the Holiday In that goes to Denny's after the gig each night?
