My drummer blew out the back window of his VW Scirocco- he was sure that the 1820 would fit in the back (Not my cab- I was tech for his other band's bass player). He and I laid in the back. It fit just right. He slammed the hatch down and crash- there went the back window!
He had to drive around for a few weeks with Saran Wrap duct taped to the back. I think he sold the car shortly after...

A joyful 800 watts rms, from a pro bassplayer who had too much old stuff.
Mesa Powerhouse 410 covered in real leather $200 C
Came with a nice cover.
All these amps are AWESOME. Some basses sound better on particular amps, so you need a few!

I paid $500 for a Gallien Krueger RB700i with a 4x10 NEO cab in lightly used condition. It felt like a good price for my first large " gig rig ".

A different kind of a bargain, but one that can't be beat. For the price of gas to drive to San Diego, I won this Carvin BX250 in a raffle at the grand opening of Carvin Audio's new location ( lasted a whole 4 months ) that's no longer in business. Also scored two free microphones ( they were handing them out to anyone who walked through the door and had the wife with me ). Icing on the cake was having a happy wife that had been telling me we were overdue for a day trip together.

how do you buy the wrong thing with the word BASS right on the front in gold and 6 places on the package?
Got Acoustic B100 Mk II from the UPS man today. Still got the sticker on the front. For what I paid for it, I think I did alright. Gonna be a late night tonight.

I only have full sized headphones so I cant comment about any other type. Sounds quite good to me as well..good for quiet practise when plugging an mp3 player into it...comes with a selection of drum beats too.
He is a guitarist who is really short sighted so maybe he just couldnt see the giant word BASS on the pack too. I dunno..he can be a bit airy fairy some days. Left his wife home by mistake to one gig that I remember and had to go back and get her after setting up lolll like I said...a guitarist.how do you buy the wrong thing with the word BASS right on the front in gold and 6 places on the package?

I enjoy practicing with it; it's a keeper for sure.

Just picked up this Bugera Infinium 1960 last week for $200.00, which IMO is a great price for an all tube 100 watt head.
Less than a year old looks brand new and has the original box too. Sounds real good with my Acoustic BN115 NEO 15 cab. Honestly surprised at how nice it sounds and the build quality is very good. I also play some guitar and my Strat just kills through this head and a single 12" Eminence LadyLuck in my Valve Jr. cab which ironically is the same color of reddish brown the Bugera head is.
