Hello, hello I've been looking for a while and I've decided to join.
I started playing the guitar about 5 years ago and joined beginners band. After a while, I graduated to a better band but decided to play bass for the original band. I picked up a cheap Rogue LX400 bass on Craigslist for $30 and have been enjoying playing bass ever since. I've been playing bass for about a year-and-a-half in total now. I mostly play Blues and classic rock.
I have a Fender Rumble v3 100W (wish it were 200W, my wife doesn't)
My Rogue bass is strung with flatwounds and I think it sounds pretty good.
My son bought me a cheap Chinese kit for a jazz bass for Christmas. I'm a tinkerer and I have built several guitars already so I'm looking forward to messing around with it and making it sound good.
