I'm in my late 30s and most of the songs mentioned in this thread are 100% new to me. Hell, some of the bands are new to me. I do, however, absolutely remember the Shai song in the OP. It was popular when I was a kid, but I don't know about it being a hit.

How about Roller by April Wine? I never hear bands play that song. I played it when it was new. Great rock song.

(I always thought a Warren Zevon 'tribute' band would be awesome ...... No one else seems to think so ......)

My band does this one, with a female lead vocalist. Not one of my favorites. Sorry.
