HUGE TRADE GONE BAD

This guy is using others pics on here as they where his now and troweling the basses for sale and for trade seeing if anyone will fall for it.He is using different names and TB names as well.He does not give his phone number but has given different addresses it looks like?The bass he wanted to trade me was sold a year and a half ago By Big String.I contacted the buyer in ther UK and luckily he answered me back in time!Here is my PM to a Mod.http://www.talkbass.com/forum/private.php?do=showpm&pmid=6758655

BTW- this reminds me of the "$50 Mystery Bass" thread that was on here about 3 years ago around Christmas time. Some guy in like Kansas was getting a mystery bass shipped to him by a relative who found it when cleaning out a house that used to belong to another relative who had recently passed away. 30something pages of hilarity straight out of a Monty Python marathon.

And I SERIOUSLY hope Shaun contacts the various PDs that others have mentioned.

And doesnt the pic of "Evan" look like somebody who's enjoyed more than a Few Twix in his time?????

My guess is he is a kid and donna smith is his mom , his name is evan SMITH-My guess is thats his real damn address he didnt bother to put on the return shipping label as he was afraid of getting caught , well guess what?criminals aint smart-I bet he is on tb at that house right now.I wouldnt be suprised if that is his mom and she has a paypal account and he doesnt.

Seeing as how it shares a last name with evan and is where i shipped a body evan has that has to be his house unless they moved in the last few months.

OK - a bit mystic - but the point is you reallyneed to "vet" folks before trading. I know that I have backed out of deals as I was not feeling secure. I have a friend on Ebay that got a full return after a swipe - but he had to play the channels for months to get it. This guy is figuring you will give up. Find the slow but steady road to get things back.

Look, at the very LEAST...the kid should be awarded a SAG card and nominated for an Academy Award. Apparently fooled a LOT of folks here....
