I’m looking for online lesson suggestions.

I need to find a good online bass teacher. I play gospel 5 string bass. I have great slap technique and have stretched my basic knowledge of major and minor scales to good grooving. However i want to take my playing to the next level in terms of shapes, scales, and general song structure. I am tempted to subscribe to an online teacher, like Daric Bennett or Scott’s bass lessons but am looking for suggestions?

Something you might consider is identifying some of your favorite pro players and reach out to them to see if they'd be willing to do some private lessons with you -- even if they don't advertise lessons. Given the current situation in which so many musicians are suffering financially, you might well be able to get affordable lessons with someone who wouldn't ordinarily be available.

If you's prefer actual one on one lessons, Ant Wellington and his Bassology curriculum are the way to go.
If you're looking for existing online lessons/curriculum, with your background Norm Stockton's artofgroove.com may be the right choice.
