I am GAS FREE!

Incredible!

Since I got my EBMM fretless 1992 ray and my PJB Flightcase 150, I am not even thinking of lookin at gear anymore, It's indeed a weird, but very nice, feeling, though I plan to get a 5-string p-bass one day when it feels right and I find the right axe, but atm it's not at all in my head.

My other basses haven't been touched since then either, and I start to think that I found my holy grail!

Here's the thread about my lovely ray

Just wanted to share this moment of clarity and peace!

I am sorry my good sir, but you are not GAS free. :p

hehe, I know that one would hit back on me, but yes, I am GAS free for the moment, as having GAS implies searching for something and wanting something badly, I don't have that for a p-bass BUT the day I find a p-bass that I really like, may be I stumble over it as I am not actively looking for it, the GAS will probably hit me...

:)

Enjoy the feeling, and the gear. Good gear is a tool set to make music, and one can be happy with the toolset. Not *everyone* can be happy with their toolset, but it does happen.

Enjoy.

"for the moment" that's the key phrase. :eyebrow:

Yeah, and I play really a lot now, better up, when we have moved house (in two weeks) I get a music room all to myself where I will setup a work bench for bass/guitar setup and a practice corner plus a project/composition studio, that I do look forward to as we have been living in a 2 room flat for 4-5 years now and here's really not any space for any hobbies without having to remove everything when time's up..
