I ate me some poutine!!

so were you in Montreal when you had this delight, or lost someplace in the great province of Quebec?

fwiw, poutine gravy is not just ordinary brown beef gravy. it is brown, but it has a completely different make-up than the brown gravy slogged over mashed potatoes in the US.

the cheese curds must be squeeky - anyone from Wisconsin will know what squeeky cheese is. poutine does not used shredded or sliced cheese, or some gooey liquid from the nacho assembly line.

all the best,

I was not in montreal or any part of canada for that matter. I was also unaware that the brown gravy was different from the stuff you put on mashed potatoes.
