I blame you all for this

Hey. Some of us can play bass WHILE rocking a spectacular pair of patent leather pumps. ;) And I make it a point to discuss both shoe and bass/bass accoutrement purchases with my husband because we are in partnership, not competition.

Good rule to discuss purchases first.

To be fair, if my wife starts talking to me about shoes my eyes kinda' glaze over... unless they're patent leather pumps;)

Does your insurance company offer "accident forgiveness"? Not your car insurance, your life insurance.

Pretty funny!!!

Actually nope...maybe I ought to be watching my back a bit more :)

I just sorta did an accidental purchase yesterday and She knows...AND I am still alive...so life is GREAT!

(OK - it was not a "truly accidental purchase"....it was a "honey - I would be a fool to pass this up....PLEAZZZE???" - pretty close to the same thing though )

As Grace Hopper, the creator of the Cobol programming language, once said:

Yea, I nerd-out sometimes.

Our wives are not stupid, nor should they be treated as such.

Indeed. Or as any of the other stereotypes floating around... spendthrifts who have massive closets full of shoes, hypocrites who can blow huge amounts of money on said shoes but turn around and get mad when their husbands buy a bass, selfish women who can't appreciate that their husbands can be fascinated by something they're not... I mean, if your wives are really like this, I feel for you, but most of us are not. The whole "old ball and chain" thing is tiresome.
