well no, i would need the versatone to die an EXTRA happy man.
i just removed the fender. that was from long ago and no longer something i need. although i'm still open to anyone who wants to give me one for free

Beautiful bass! I just sold a 68' SF II to fellow TBer Tim Marks. I used the funds for a new upright. I too can die a happy man. Now, about that Versatone. Congrats!
