Someone asked if there are any dead spots - NOPE! Not a dead spot anywhere on the neck and its dead straight without a ski jump. The Brazilian Rosewood is as dark as ebony. Score.
The smell (yes, I smelled it) is like any vintage hammered-on guitar. The odor consists of nitro, sweat, blood, and beer.
I won't be painting it and there will be no stickers applied. It's staying as is.
All of my guitars get played. I'd never even remotely think of hanging an instrument on a wall to just look at. It's not fair to the instrument. It BEGS to be played!

Slab in this context is the fingerboard. As opposed to a radiuses laminated fingerboard mid 62 sometime. Slabs are 59 to 62.5ish.

I love the fact that you are going to actually use that beautiful creature! I hear of collectors from Japan and other parts of the world buying these rare classics and just displaying them in a glass case for their self enjoyment....which I guess everyone has the right to do whatever you want with your cash but I just feel an instrument needs playing to keep it 'alive'.
