I guess I gotta get a wallet??

I carry a standard leather wallet and keep all my cards in various pockets, using the outermost slots for the cards I pull out most = gas, credit card. library card, driver's license, debit card.
I carry my health insurance card with me, because your gonna want that if you get yourself into a medical situation/emergency.
Also carry a few business cards I collect, but have to clear these out every so often, otherwise things get bulky fast.

A few years ago I started carrying my wallet in my left hip pocket. Sometimes would jab the buttocks or even put 'em to sleep. Was thinking' this couldn't be good for nerves, or spine, or posture. Must say keeping back pockets empty works well!

Do not carry your social security card in your wallet. duh. Just like you don't keep your car title in the car.

So my Social Security Card is like the title to ME?

It's a trial-and-error process, IMO. I have carried ones made from synthetic materials and leather. Did trifolds but came back to bifolds. I have a co-worker who does the rubber band thing. Do whatever works for you.

I have discovered one thing about wallets: if you sit a lot at work or in a vehicle, don't sit on your wallet. I suggest you get in the habit of having a consistent stash location to facilitate this.

Yes, it will mess up your spine eventually.

Dont carry "rewards cards," just enter your phone number. Thatll cut down some bulk. I personally carry my health insurance card at all times, because i have several chronic health problems, but if you get in an accident it will pay off. Always keep that on you.

So: ID, health, atm and/or credit, and thats it. I have a wallet that has room for all that and is super thin. I will try to find a link. It is really old, but works perfectly.

Due to comfort (and back problems) i just keep mine in my front pocket. Easy. Problem solved.

Just get a small front pocket wallet. I use Invalid Link Removed. I carry ID, 1 credit card, 1 debit card, and no more than a couple bills. Then take everything else that you think you need and put in Link Removed in your glovebox. If you have a smartphone, take pictures of your insurance cards (front and back), or save your insurance information as a contact.

It's not a complex purchase, but it is an essential one. Just get something that looks like it will work and go for it. Without one you will be out of your element, Donny. ;) Do not keep it in your back pocket. This will lead to spinal misalignment, something you obviously do not want. Always carry it in your front pants pocket. Carrying it in your coat pocket makes it easier to lose.
