I hate high schoolers....

They think they're bad to the bone always gotta cause trouble. I could've killed a couple of 'em yeterday. I was on my way home from work when I car with 4 hs kids passed me and waived their hands like idiots. I gave them the silent F and they slowed down. They looked at me and I stared bad. I rolled down my window and asked them what the F their problem was. They didn't say anything back but if they had I swear I would've made them eat each other's a$$es.

Dude... you let some high school kids get into your head. You were so pwned! :p :p

I've had the stupid mocking wave thing happen before. Just ignore them, all there looking for is a rise out of you.

Besides even if they were stupid enough to try and do something at a light or something, what are you going to tell a cop? I beat little johnny because he smirked and waved and made stupid faces at behind a car window?

(For real though, this just shows how stupid some kids are, A LOT OF people I know carry pipes and such in the front seat, push the wrong buttons and say good bye to daddies windshield)

I know why it makes you mad though. When some little idiots that are like 16 mock you, it's a sign of disrespect. I never did when I was a kid because my father always whooped my ass if I ever disrespected someone grown for no good reason.

I find If I just ignore them and give them the, "I don't care what you think your doing your a little dumb !@#$ look." They usually give up and fell like the the imature fools they are.

Now if they persisted and got out of a car at a light or something like that, it would be a different story. But, the dorky wave is nothing to get too worked up about.

I don't know what it is about that "mocking, dorky wave" that makes me feel enraged. There's just something incredibly annoying about it.

he's out for blood now! YES!

*evil grin*

On a serious note, I apologize for generalizing based on the stupid act by 4 kids. I've been on the receiving end of of sides. This one just happens to be fresher on my mind. I've had old guys cussing at me for walking on their sidewalks too. I was just thinking how if those kids did that to the wrong guy something really serious could've gone down. This is definitely not something for me to burst a blood vessel over.

i didn't. i'm only 20. I would get the case of road rage and flick people off, but it was all justified (:D ) I still do that, even on post. I'm just waiting to accidentilly flick off a lt. general of sgt. maj. and have them chase me down. :hiding:

My dad was the Command Master Chief at Camp Pendelton and we were driving home when a guy cut us off and then flipped us off because we were doing the speed limit on the base. Apparently, that wasn't fast enough for him. Unfortunately for him, my dad knew who he was and he had some extra duties following that encounter...

Ironically enough, I'm a pastor to students and this kid nearly took off the side of my car and proceeded to scream and flip me off. He came to visit our church two days later...he was embarassed to say the least.

I don't think high school kids should be allowed to drive (for their own safety and the safety of others) and thankfully we'll have a new law enacted in California where you need to be 18 to drive.

I don't speed on post, I hate the MPs too much too! I only flick people off when they don't put there turn signals on and slam on there breaks to make a turn, that really pisses me off. i don't do it that much anymore, just cause i don't care that much now. Plus i don't want extra duty!

No. NO. NO. NO. Just NO.

Absolutely not, and here's why:

You have to start somewhere. The drivers that are 18 will be just as bad as those who are 16. It doesn't matter. It merely postpones the time they will begin to drive. Maturity has nothing to do with it. It's all about experience. A person who is 40 and is just starting to drive will most likely be just as bad at driving as a 16 year old. Age DOES NOT equal maturity. There are 8 year olds that I know that are fairly mature. I know 30 year olds who are very immature.

How about you just enact a law that says "anyone who has not already driven for 5 years should be expelled from using the roads until this generation dies".

Hmph.

You really need ask yourself what the law will achieve. Peace of mind? Less accidents? Fewer immature flicking offs on the road?

Definitely not. Idiots are idiots, REGARDLESS of age.
