I hate shaving

About the only thing I hate worse than shaving is the grubby look of being unshaven. I hate shaving for some reason. I don't cut myself or anything, I just hate it. A beard? No. For lots of guys, but not me.

And since I DO have to shave, I have a few comments; Barbasol sucks. Gillette Foamy is the best. For razors, the Mach III is very nice. Haven't tried any other "high end" razors. The cheapies are like Barbasol. Electric razors just don't work for me.

get a shaving mirror and shave in the shower. it makes it 1 BILLION time better.

I use a Mach III as well, though I'm not a massive fan of Gillette foams, they seem a bit thin for me!

+1. Straight razors hack my face to pieces. Been using an electric for many years now.

I wish I understood this. I sit there and run that thing all over my face forever, and nothing is gone - I'm not shaved.

What kind really works? I would LOVE to use an electric if I could.

once i've gotten used to shaving (once i can finally grow a beard) i'm going to start using a cutthroat razor

I'm with you!!! Except that I use an electric. But it's still a hassle. I acquired the top of the line Panasonic ES8228 that isn't even available in the US (at least yet) and it's still a huge chore. But it is less of a hassle now than it ever was before. I wish they made a pill that would permanently eliminate all hair below the eyelashes. I would take it in an instant and be happy forever.

i shave only when i have someone to look good for so usually about once a week and i end up with a full beard inbetween shaving.

im not a fan of shaving but i gotta look respectable when i leave the house for anyplace other than work.

I always shave in the shower... A good razor with fresh blades and a shaving mirror and it's pretty hassle free.

if i had anybody to impress at work id be shaving daily. my job dont care i could grow a beard down to the floor and dye it blue and they would be ok with it. the girl ive been hitting on lately seems to like me better clean shaven so i shave when i know she will be around.

Thing with electrics is that your face has to get accustomed to them...they won't really start feeling as smooth as they can until a week or two. After that you can shave in the car on the way to work

No... no we do not. Because after y'all have finished chopping down the enchanted forest that grows on your legs and under your arms, you have the gall to put OUR razor back and wait for us to hack ourselves to pieces with the newly dulled and pitted blade.
