sounds like its not the battery, but the alternator in the bass isnt keeping the battery charged. That or the latteral extractor isnt extracting latterally anymore.

I don't think anyone is berating him so much as we're just having fun. It ain't that serious man...just having fun here.
Anyway, I've thought about this problem a lot and I know one guy a few posts back was talking about the alternator. That got me thinking...sounds like he's a real "outside of the box" type thinker. Could be onto something there...So do any of you know if punkindrublic has the type bass that has the flux capacitor? If so, then I have a theory...

Its a radical theory Mikey but yes...it just might work. God help us..it just might work!
I got a better idea. Why not just change the battery? And take your bass to a qualified technician and have him install a switch to turn off the active electronics in a pinch (and that is serious). The active/passive switch on my G&L has saved my hide on a gig a couple of times.

Doing that would be mean-spirited, and I'm quite sure there isn't a single post, aside from yours, that was made with anything other than levity in mind.
IOW, you are the only one so far that has called the OP ignorant. He either asked a legitimate question, which was answered, or he lobbed one over the plate for everyone's benefit.
