I did it again!
Mighty mite neck, allparts body, gotoh hardware, stew mac pickup, boscoe mmsr77 stingray 2 band preamp, and switches for series parallel and a little seasoning switch (on-off-on with a .022uF and .0022uF on opposite sides) wired in parallel to the input. On demand sizzle or thump! Tons of tonal options in a different dimension vs the purple bass (Queen Purple Reign). Love the outcome!

That one is nice too but the rosewood with the block inlays and purple! It is hard to beat!
So is this more ultimate than the other one, or are they co-ultimate?

Those new All Parts bodies seem like a great deal. What is your impression of it in person?

They're really nice. Well built and seem precise in their drilling and routing. Finished and shielded from the get go
That finish is trippy, Lobster! You somehow combined the Mocha wall paneling and Natural orangey kitchen wood finishes from the 1970s and put them in one bass. Mind blown!

That was allparts' doing haha, I didn't finish it. The primo bodies do have a lot of really fun finishes!
It sounds great! It is very flexible paired with the series parallel and the tone switch
