I Have Found Peace Within "The Funk"
Being a child from the 60's and 70's I was born within this obscure genre called "Funk".
Unfortunately with the great grooves of "Rock and Roll" ,"Jazz" and other great music at the time, I moved on through the 80's and 90' subconsciously into other genres
......leaving my true love of this great music behind.
I am here now to tell you all my "Bassist Brothers and Sisters (and yes, other musicians to)" I have been "Reborn"!! ....And need you to join me in the ways of "Funkyness" .......please show us all the "Funk" that is inside us all.
Of course, I will start this off with a little something by "Kool and the Gang"......whatcha got??

I found the extended version of Happy Man thanks to your thread! It's always been my favorite Bernard Edwards tour-de-force. What a giant walked among us. Well, lots of giants, as we already see in the postings so far.
