I jumped all the way in... Genz Benz

At 52 I am adding more bass playing to my repertoire and joined a garage band. I've been looking for sensible used rigs following a lot of the advice from TalkBass threads, probably a RB400 & cab.

Then today on Ebay I bought brand new Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 12T combo for $851 delivered! I talked with the store before I bid and they confirmed brand new, not B-Stock or return. Full store and factory warranty.

These things are listed everywhere for $1199 + shipping, and I was going to spend $500-$600 used. I can't wait for it to come.

Congrats for sure on that combo. You definitely found a bargain...I just bought the same rig at what I considered to be a sizeable discount...good for you! I think you'll love it - I've been very happy and completely amazed at the sound of the rig.

Another happy 6.0-12T owner here....I'll bet you'll love it as well. They certainly make some great deals on GB over at eBay.

Ya, if you're looking for an amp that can do pretty much any gig except metal and weighs a very small amount, the Shuttle's sweet.

Blues, Blues/Rock, Pop at parties and 50-75 people clubs. I'm sure a second 1x12 will be on the horizon.
