In my experience, it also depends on which pick you're using. Soft materials like nylon are more forgiving.

Four years with GHS black tapewounds using the Wedgie 5.0 hard pick.It's a Wedgie(sp) I think. Someone was singing its praises here on TB. It's rubber, kinda. I pretty much bought them-3 pack- on a whim. I have never used a pick and subsequently really suck at it.![]()
