When you find it, the printed instructions for the output jack are backwards. Well they were this last spring. But EMG has an install video on YouTube that is correct and what I used for my install. Couldnt ask for a more hassle free install.
My parts P bass has a PAF era DiMarzio in it. I LOVE that thing! It's a BEAST.
I just like having different flavors to mess around with.
Good luck. It's probably with my socks and car keys. The only time I lose/misplace something is when the normal routine is broken. Let's say every day you come home, walk up the stairs, put your keys on the hook and head to the john. Yesterday you had a burrito for lunch. You ran up the stairs three at a time, and just made it without soiling your trousers. Now where did you put your keys? Granted, it probably isn't every day you get a geezer in the mail, but you might have had an interruption and put it down someplace in order to tend to something else. Try retracing your steps. Hope this helps.
That's great advice for a normal person who lost something this morning.
I'm a barely functioning person who lost something a couple weeks ago. Retracing my steps is not an option. I don't remember what I had for breakfast.... much less my "steps" from Friday before last.
I had to really play around with the mid center on my SVT2 non pro, and electric blue.
Not that big a deal, but the GZR has a decidedly firm voicing I found I had to set my most flexible amps to accommodate.
My GZR setup responds to the SWR head best.
It's not a gain monster like a Dimarzio P can be, it's a voicing thing.
If you're anything like me, you set it on the hood of your car while you ran back inside to get your stupid ID badge... It probably made it a mile or two down the road before falling off...

Oh yeah. This is 'I'll put it in a safe place' syndrome. So safe that even you will not know where to find it.
Actually, I do that stuff all the time.
Last week, I set my coffee (usually in one of the larger Tervis tumblers) on my rear bumper. I drive about 8 miles in suburban to urban traffic.... 65 mph to stop and go.... and it was still there when I got to work! My mind was blown.
It’s sitting in the least likely place you would think of leaving it. Happens to all of us...
The stress of being gone for a week doesn't help, either. That's when you're really prone to go off of your routine. Sometimes when I misplace something I get so upset that I look right past the article during the search for it. I go back later and it's in plain sight. If it's in a drawer maybe a piece of paper or some other item is on top of it. Is it still in the package or did you take it out of the box/envelope it was mailed in? If you're looking for a box you might skip over an envelope. This is a frustrating situation and I'm only trying to help, not aggravate you. Hope you find it soon.

I feel you.. You'll find it hopefully. I found my smartphone in the fridge the other day.

I've done that too, many times.
OTOH, I've also opened up a case in the basement and found a bass inside I didn't know I had, so it evens out in the end.
