I LOVE HipShot Products! Squier Active 5 Upgrade.

I love when companies have good Attention To Detail products. I love it more when those places have employees that care about helping you get from A to B and not just sell you something.

I have HipShot bridges and tuning machines on all of my Devon 5 string basses, so when I wanted to get a replacement bridge for my back up, knock around Fender Squier Active V, I turned to them. Jason U. @ HipShot, looked at the specs I sent him and suggested their B Style Bass Bridge. I received my .750 brass version bridge yesterday and it is as close to a drop in, no modifications bridge as you can get!!! The only drilling I needed to do was to make the screw holes 1/8th of an inch deeper! I used wood dye to black out the 2 forward holes of the original bridge. Other than that…. PERFECT!!!

I dig 'em too! Most of my basses have one of their Drop-D tuners AND my parts-bass project bears one of their bridges.

Also, way-early this morning I asked for confirmation on which kind of extender would go on my Fender Classic '70s Jazz. By 8:45am, I had a response and a request for a picture, just to be sure and all. I got my second confirmation in less than fifteen minutes! Mad Love for Jason at Hipshot!!

I've honestly never really used any hipshot products, but I had a Victor Bailey acoustic that I bought used. The little plastic washers on the tuners were busted. I called hipshot, a human picked up the phone, and after a 2 minute conversation he sent me new washers and the tools to install them in the mail for free.

The Supertone is a replacement for the Gibson/Epiphone 3-point bridge. Just installed one on my 2013 Epi Thunderbird, today. I was never a fan of the original bridge. This one is much more adjustable and intonation is a breeze.

As far as Hipshot products in general, I'm a big fan. Got a Cirrus that came stock with HS bridge and Ultralites, and a Millennium 4 that came stock with a HS bridge, and I swapped the tuners to Ultralites with an Xtender. If i could swap parts on the rest of my basses to Hipshot, I probably would!

I have Hipshot tuners on all but one of my basses and never had any issues. Recently, I was replacing Lic tuners with US versions on one of my Laklands. Turned out the bushings are a larger outer diameter than the tuner hole of the Skyline headstock with the US sets sold through vendors. Called up Hipshot to see if there was a solution and they sent me new bushing that fit the Skyline diameter. Just excellent CS.

I have hipshot ultralite tuners on my basses and a hipshot bridge on one. The tuners have cured my neck dive issues, are precise, and look great at the same time. Can't beat made in USA products like hipshot!
