I LOVE Jazz Basses!

I love jazz basses. Something about the sound when all the pickups are on full and tone is on full just makes me gravitate towards them. Mind you, I'd sell my American P ( even though I use often nowadays) for an American jazz in a heartbeat. NOT the same colour, of course...

I'm more comfortable on a Jazz neck, and a P body - but prefer the sound of Jazz pups in series - go figure... I can make any of it work, though - but end up running both types of basses the same: pups in series, pots wide open...

here's my dechromed Squier Standard. Replaced all the chrome with black, painted the awful white pickguard, and leveled the frets. It's the first Fender I've liked.
