That's a 1973 or 1974 Gibson Les Paul Signature bass. These basses were only made for a few years in the mid-70's by Gibson and are the model for the Epiphone Jack Casady Signature basses. Jack played one for many years and redesigned the pickup for the Epiphone version. The one I'm playing above is an original Gibson which is of much higher overall quality than the Epi-JC Sigs.

O.K. here it is, this music store in the town I reside in is moving to a larger location. uh ohh!!!! They are haveing a moving sale!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now this has been so far a bad year for me and money is tight right.... But!!!! they have this fender squire 5 string with active electronics I have been eyeing for 2 mo now and I want it BAD!!!!!!! It might look like the picture I'm trying to add here (if this first time attachment thing works for me..) accept it is in a pewter metallic finish (I call it gun metal, they say pewter) they dropped the price to 250 and I don't know if I should... any body want to comment on this 250 dollar ho....squire good or not?

I have a fender j-bass I love.. and the squire has a thin neck (for a 5 string) with decent action... so do I pimp it or pass it? HELP!!!!!!!!
