I love my $150 Ho!

You know, Steve, I'm a bit snooty when it comes to the basses I play and own and I don't think I would like one of yours. But, when I see the basses, the passion you have for them and the entire package I just can't help but dig every instrument you own. Great stuff, man! :bassist:

That bass brings back some great memories. That is the exact bass I had for a first bass. Same color, pickguard, headstock, knobs and everything. Even has the two dinky oval pickups.

Here's a pick of that bass as it is today, it's the one on the right.Invalid Link Removed

O.K. here it is, this music store in the town I reside in is moving to a larger location. uh ohh!!!! They are haveing a moving sale!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now this has been so far a bad year for me and money is tight right.... But!!!! they have this fender squire 5 string with active electronics I have been eyeing for 2 mo now and I want it BAD!!!!!!! It might look like the picture I'm trying to add here (if this first time attachment thing works for me..) accept it is in a pewter metallic finish (I call it gun metal, they say pewter) they dropped the price to 250 and I don't know if I should... any body want to comment on this 250 dollar ho....squire good or not?

I have a fender j-bass I love.. and the squire has a thin neck (for a 5 string) with decent action... so do I pimp it or pass it? HELP!!!!!!!!

Man, this bass looks just fine, I like black basses, I think they look classy. If you like the feel and tone of this bass, go for it! You'll be glad to add a 5-string to your arsenal. I think for 250$, that's quite a deal! :bassist:

Just learned you gotta go low to get up...:bassist:

exactly how many basses do you have? like all together?

how many cabs?!

:p

On any given day? I average about 15-20 basses at any given point in time. Only 2-3 are "keepers".

Cabs? No cabs. Dude don't need no stinking cabs! I sold off my big Mesa Boogie rig and my Ampeg Punisher. Shoulda kept the Punisher rig for future collectibility though...same with the Fender Rumble Bass stack but oh well!

1 Combo...Ampeg B-100R is all I ever want or need now.

I also have a little Trace Elliott Boxer 15 for a bench amp. (also works great for my Kramer Ferrington ABG)

That was the Inverness Green '76 T-Bird of Tom Petersson's. Nope..sold it a few years ago in a pinch. It now resides in good company though!
