I used to have that ramones poster...I don't know what happened to it though, it was one of my favorite posters.
And I have that ampeg in the corner's little brother(unless that is an authentic from the 70s deal and not a modern day retro)

That's not MB. My "fuzzy friend" with me in that pic is the late Bruce Day, bass player of "Pablo Cruise" and that photograph was taken in my home on what was to be Bruce's last birthday. He passed about a week after that shot was taken.

That one that "floored" me is a custom bass I designed and had Steve Azola build to my specs. I call it the "Tele-Dude" and it now resides in the private collection of Mark Mills (aka: Bass Guitars & Muscle Cars) in Auburn, CA.

The Les Paul shaped bass held by Bruce Day is indeed a Hagstrom. It's a rare Hagstrom Patch 2000 Synth bass now in the private collection of Carl Hagstrom.

Thanks for the info. I love the pickup placement on that Azola; been thinking of trying a Tele-style bass with that sort of set-up for a while. You may have awakened a monster with that pic.
Love the Hag, too; that's a really clean one. Sometimes I think they do Gibson better than Gibson does...

On a lighter note...that Hagstrom he's holding is insanely cool. What do you mean "Patch 2000 Synth Bass"? Did it have a built-in synth?

That would be about the coolest thing I can think of if the newly resurected MOOG went in on a joint venture with a current high-end bass company (like say.....Benavente?) to make an updated reissue of that. That's the ultimate analog synth-bass. Thanks for the info.Man, you have a Wal? Why bother with the rest of them then? Sell them all and get a fretless Wal as an add-on.
