I've got to admit I was impressed by the sound clips and the attitude of John Knudsen over at the Knudson Luthiery... other was known as the home of the "Messenger" bass...so I ordered one with the 'EXTRA SPECIAL SUPER DUPER PICK-UP" (which I can't remember the name of)... at any rate I think it has an even more upright sound than the "Ergo" and am looking forward to getting it. As for the "Ergo"... I may or may not sell it... it's just a wonderful instrument... just a different sound. I'd be surprised if there many (any) other EUB's out there that would top the "acoustic" sound of the "Messenger"... !!!
