I mean, $2,000 and it doesn't even have strings?

I listened to it earlier out of curiosity. First, it was hilarious. Second, I had earbuds in and didn’t turn it up loud and it was at such sub levels I couldn’t really hear it anyway. But my damn eardrums could feel it. Freakiest sensation. Had to turn it off. Lucky I didn’t crap my pants I guess.
Buddy of mine had 2 JL Audio 15’s crammed into his Nissan Pulsar hatchback along with a bunch of other speakers and amps back in the late 90s lol. Was STUPID loud. This cd was on rotation often.

If it was cleaned up & in good condition it might actually bring over $500. This one doesn’t seem to be clean or in good shape. The Dyna bass came in neck through and screw-attached neck. I think the neck through was called the Unity Series. There might have also been a model with Super Ferrite pickups. They were pretty good basses, but not $2k good or $1.5k good.
This one might be up for sale for a while….
I had an early production 5 string bolt neck Dyna with a nice preamp in it, and it was the shiznit. Not long after I got it I tried out for a short term bass spot in a country band when their guy was going to be out for a few months for surgery and recovery. When I opened my case, one of their guitarists saw my bass and said I was hired, the other one said let's play a little first. he started with Highway 40 Blues. It was one of six songs they had given me on a videotape so I had it down. We did two more and they offered me the job. About six weeks later their regular guy said his wife was not going to allow him to come back so I got hired permanently.

After reading through this, I'm convinced the owner must have been some guy suffering from chronic constipation on a search for the brown note after exhausting all other conventional forms of relief. Maybe it's a medical test instrument. Could be why it's worth so much.
From the looks of it, they might have also tried using it in other ways to provide relief.

Trying to figure out what a "Techmaster PEB" is, I did a search, and realized... oh my.

I have the "Bass Computer" CD. Purchased a few months ago in a batch at a tag sale. I guess I'll have to listen to it now.

Very Rare and collectable, I'll even get a dad to sign it. Sooo... if any of you folks want to REALLY complete your celebrity package: $75 firm, +$300 shipping, batteries not included.:D
If it was DJ Magic Mike's CD with "Feel the Bass" I'd be all over it. :roflmao:

And the ad is confusing:

Maybe it's all marketing in a way... because now I just research his father's work and seeing his dad is still signing and making music... huh...
I had that notion when I was halfway through Bassgasm. I’ve gone through all that YouTube had.

I’m really close to taking up @badinage ’s offer on that collectible disc. I’d have to buy a CD player too, though.
