When I was in Jr high we lived in a little town outside Ft. Rucker. One morning about 3 AM my dad wakes everyone up and says there's been some kind of mysterious, massive attack on Rucker and we need to get out of the area ASAP. No time to pack anything just get dressed and get in the car. We all scramble into our clothes and grab a toothbrush and hop in the car. About halfway down the driveway, Pop stops the car and yells APRIL FOOLS!!!, then falls out laughing.

She'd get him up, then find him back in bed. Get him up again, make sure he got dressed, then come back and he's back in his pajamas. He was moving really slowly, seemingly determined to make us late for church. She was about ready to kill my brother.

Turns out dad had set the clocks back an hour and my brother was in on the prank. We still had another hour to get ready.
