I would guess late 80's. Squier made some showmaster strat-type guitars with the same logo around that time. They were aiming for the hair metal players of the day.
That's a HM series squier, which came out in '89 and didn't last very long. The Korean E serials seem to have started where the Japanese serials left off, but it's not really possible to date them exactly. Serials starting with an S were quite common on Korean instruments during this period as well.
