I need some help on watts!!!

Right. I'm sure EAW bases their recommendations on JBL literature. There are no horn drivers in the SBX220s. So you're saying that the JBL horn drivers don't blow until after the warranty is up?
I just mean if you're trying to get a 22 caliber to sound like a Mesa 400, you may smoke your 22 caliber.

I assume this was tongue in cheek? You always seemed too knowledgeable for me to think you consider pouring a gallon into a half gallon container a sound idea.
If it's Whuskey, that's half a gallon for later and half a gallon for now!! The object of the exercise was to empty the original container right??

The relationship of amplifier watts to speaker watts in bass guitar handleing power will always depend on the following observed Factors:.
Has the user bought any of the following publications, Metal Hammer, Kerang, Terroriser and a guide to "the wooden churches of Norway".= between parity and twice the speaker handleing power in relation to the amp.
Ranging all the way down too: if the User is in possession of copies of Downbeat, Jazz Times and Broadway Music + several heavily thumbed copies of the "bumper book of Swedish big boys".
The empirical answer is as much as twice or three times the Speaker Handling in Amplifier Power should suffice.

This is entirely based on mathematics, ergo! the percentage of harmonic distortion desired by the pinpointed readership demographic. divided by the dynamic competence of the relavant bass guitar techniques employed.
This information is simply scaled to graphs of amplifier power versus loudspeaker handling, QED the empirical information contained in my preceding post.
