fwiw I really have a hard time getting a bad tone with my active 83' MM Sabre. No rethinking needed. I would need to rethink for passive. I have used 1 bass for the last 20 years.

Good one KZR. Now you can do the low gain high gain with it! Sweet. I inquired at Matt about the second dist mod. He said he would rather construct a new pedal/box as opposed to ruining the etched ones that are already out there. I agree with him. It would still be pretty sweet to get it done as opposed to buying a whole other pedal. Maybe I can trade him! haha
This and the FDeck HPF are my two next purchases. Then I'll actually have a reason to set up my pedalboard.
I have an Fdeck 1 and while I have no real idea that its working while Im playing, I know its doing something good. And I, glad its there.
I would try bass at 1 oclock, gain around noon to 2 oclock, treble fully CCW (off) and output to the room. Control your treble with your basses onboard. Amp flat.
Hell yeah hank. I completely agree that is simply one of the best rats around. And I've tried all the big ones out there. I still had my BDPG on my board when I first got my BB. Running them together was beastly for sure. The rusty box took it's place though. To me, it sounds even better now.
Killing gods
I imagine the RB sounds completely different to the BDOG when combined with the BB? I've been interested in a Rusty Box for years, same with the VT Bass.. trying to justify them to myself by saying its basically getting new amp sounds for a low price ha.
I'm really settling on a low-medium gain with the BB, which a surprise to me, as I traditionally prefer the gain cranked on Rats
