You might try D'Addario half rounds, similar in feel and tone and I believe they have the set you are looking for.

I have tried them, very similar to the Ground Woulds by GHS. But I'll check again, cause I think they have smaller gauge in that like I like.

According to what I see on D'Addario website, the Half Rounds don't come in "medium scale" (34" ball to taper), only "long" and "super long".

They do come in medium scale, they are just out of stock.

Pros
1) High Quality, extremely smooth for a roundwound, very little finger noise. Round core, wrapped with pure nickel windings, silk inlays between windings.
2) Extremely good balance of tone and volume across all four strings. No growl, but then these are called Jazz Bass strings, brite, but Jazz strings.
3) Light gauging - .042, .056, .069, .093
4) Extremely light action. I was actually able to play noticeably faster on these strings.

TI Jazz Rounds really are beautiful strings. I’ve only used the long scale set, but the characteristics you describe fit with my own experience: Supple, incredibly well balanced in all regards, nice full midrange voice. I love them !

I have Rotosound SM55 Solo Pressure Wound on my Warmoth 32" Scale bass. They "just" fit. But also this bass is string through body (Hipshot D style bridge) so that takes up some slack. Otherwise the strings would be too long.

I just had them on my Warmoth Mooncaster 32" bass. Gotta say the absolutely worst strings I have ever tried. Horrible feel and no tone. The strings sounded muddy and dead. I posted a review of them and apparently I am not alone. Not allot of love for these strings. GHS Precision Flats are like 1000 times better in feel and tone.
