I run a pre-DI signal

I send a signal to the FOH via a Radial JDI that is after my effects, but before my amp.

This is what I do as well except for my compressor which I run through the effects loop. (I don't want to squeeze my signal to the house...They are going to do it anyways).

I go from my bass to a radial big shot in the loop I just some some filters and little drive. From there my signal goes to either a Radial JDI or JDV (in most cases its the JDV).

I just make sure that the volume of the effects are no different then if I went right into the amp (thats big)

Anyone use the JDV??? Every sound man has loved the signal from it...Talk about pure...What you put in is what your getting out.
