i wanna hear myself in Cool Edit Pro

i'm a starter and i ant to record myself to keep my idea and to practice with the click..
but i don't know where is the thing i have to "check" to hear myself when i'm recording my track.. cause now i just hear the click..

it's ok to hear the result after recording it.. but i think i can hear it when i record? no?

You need to bring up the control surface for your sound card. In there you will find a mixer of some kind where you can select and mix together various inputs and outputs. There will be sliders for CD audio, Line in etc. It shouldn't be very tough but that's where the problem lies, not in Cool Edit.
