Here's one for ya! Body is made from an Ikea laminated pine table top bought from their "as is" section. Pickups are 2 of the Fender Seth Lover Telecaster bass pickups. This is definitely the only one of its kind!

this would probably be unique. Body by the late Bill Buck, random jazz neck off ebay, Eastwood bass P-90, unknown bridge, should have another bottle cap on the volume control but it recently popped off, guess I need to drink a beer. Assembled by BJ Rogers at BJ's Guitar Island. Sounds and plays great.

Here are a few pictures of my Fury "Space Bass". It was hand made in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada (That's right the same town that Dingwalls are made in), by Glenn McDougall. Glenn actually worked with Sheldon on some of the first Dingwall pickups. Not many of these basses around. Sadly it doesn't see much stage time. I used it in mostly as a spare and for shock value (lol), it definitely was a crowd pleaser. Hopefully the pictures post, it's my first try.

Standard classical guitar converted to 5 string bass using poly strings

6 string Mailloux "Lucky 13" - handmade pickups based on the specs of a pre-EB stingray, with a 2 band stingray pre-amp. Essentially a very pretty 6 string Ray.

5 string Pov Bass - Banjo Bass made from scraps (castrol oil can, recycled mystery Australian hardwood, bits of stuff found in my dad's shed including a bridge made from nuts bolts and an eggflip)

I made 2 of these, I don't think it will be a hard guess to work out which ones.

Hmm...for some reason I picture this bass fitting right at home in the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine.

It even looks like a tricked out Twin Ion Engine (TIE) series fighter!
