I want a doom bass fuzz

To OP, I think either of those fuzzes would suit you well. I recenly acquired a Megalith in a trade and I like it. Bigass fuzz. Not very versatile, though, pretty much does one thing really well.

another vote for the supercollider. yes they are still around just kind of hard to get... I love my supercollider I wouldn't ever part with that pedal. it just creates this amazing wall of fuzz that makes things fall off the wall and sounds crisp and clear too..

I liked the official demo of the OxFuzz... Probably because it was going into a tube amp already on the verge of distortion. When I bought one I flipped it immediately, didn't like it at all.

Yeah the demo sounds great but is a little misleading. Same with that grey stache demo i posted.

Hello,

I'm looking to get a new fuzz pedal that nails the crushing sounds of doom. Right now I'm thinking either the dwarfcraft eau claire thunder or the mountainking electronics megalith.

Both are monsters in their own right, but I want to hear about some more that can do similar jobs.

Also, of anyone is looking to sell either of those, I am very interested.

The Eau Claire Thunder is amazing. It is very versatile and incredibly loud. It absolutely nails the tones you need. Two thumbs up!

I'm a little curious, you have a mesa big block 750 listed on your sig, the overdrive channel isn't doing the doom fuzz for you? I live mine, and the distortion that puts out is usually more than enough. As an aside, check out heavey electronics el oso bass distortion, pretty gnarly sounding

It's a good od and distortion, but it looses the bass attack that I want. It ends up being an aggressive mid boost and crunch. I wanted more of a huge wall of thickness that envelopes people, rather than just punch them in the face. I play on using both for different situations, but I needed something a bit different

I Gotcha. Try source audios bass ofd. Lots of different choices in one box. Mesa's throttle box is also pretty killer on bass
