Hello,

I'm looking to get a new fuzz pedal that nails the crushing sounds of doom. Right now I'm thinking either the dwarfcraft eau claire thunder or the mountainking electronics megalith.

Both are monsters in their own right, but I want to hear about some more that can do similar jobs.

Also, of anyone is looking to sell either of those, I am very interested.

I think part of the tone you are seeking is a heavily overdriven tone into a fuzz. I don't think fuzz alone will get you what you want.

That OXFuzz mentioned earlier gets my vote, but have it feeding a Great Destroyer – as per giglawyer's recommendation of doubling up on helpings.

As peeps have said the Supercollider is a doom / sludge players dream, for bass or guitar IMO.

I liked the official demo of the OxFuzz... Probably because it was going into a tube amp already on the verge of distortion. When I bought one I flipped it immediately, didn't like it at all.
