Or atleast I hope so...
I have a six year old niece, that I love to death. My half sister and her husband are pretty much deadbeats and have recently moved back in with my parents, and neither of them have jobs. My niece is as sweet as she could be and I want her to have a great Christmas. Last year, I bought her a small guitar. It doesn't stay in tune, but it was good enough for her to play around on and get her interested in music. She always wants to watch me play, and would play along with her little guitar. This year, I decided i'd go ahead and spend a few bucks and get her a nice little starter bass. I want to encourage her to play music. My parents weren't very supportive of me playing music, so I waited a long time before I started playing.
I bought her this:
As you can tell its a sparkly hot pink p bass. She is left handed, so I went ahead and got her a left handed model. I thought about teaching her to play right handed, but figure it will come more natural playing lefthanded. It's also a short scale bass. I believe it is a 30 inch scale.
I recieved the bass today, tuned it up and it sounds great for the money. The action was almost perfect, I hardly had to tweak it. I couldn't believe the quality of this bass for such low dow.
Anyway, i'm really excited about it!
I can't wait for Christmas.
