I would of.

Y'all gonna make me lose my mind. Up in here. Up in here.

There is a guy at work that drives me insane during meetings. He has two flaws at a meeting that already goes too long as it is.

1) He asks questions that have already been answered during the meeting. Everytime, he begins the same way. "Lemme get this straight . . ."
2) He usually ( not always but very frequently ) ends a story or opinion with huhuhuh Whannh? ( or Hunh? ).

So of course the cattier among us will call out from time to time "LGTS - huhuhuh whaaa?"

I know. I'm a bad person. I'm trying to correct this.

Here's one more that drives me batty: Unless you're talking about the instrument, the expression is NOT "Viola!" It's also not "Walla!":rollno:

It's "Voila!" (Literally, "Look there!") Learning one actual French word won't make you a commie, I swear.;)
Thanks for posting this one, although I'm surprised it took three pages for it to come up.

I'm not a grammar or pronunciation nazi and figure that mostly as long as we can communicate, that's the most important thing. Still, it's nice to see some effort to learn to spell and understand what words it is that someone is actually using.

Wish I'd seen this thread soon enough to take part in the silliness on page one! Funny stuff...

Don't worry, I'm sure there's plenty more silliness to come... :smug:

I can't hardly wait.
