Ibanez 6 string ABG/Hollowbody

I'm assuming that this model is a custom one-off for Bruner (Thundercat), but I would really like one, especially with that kind of spacing:

Anyone have any info on this?

Yes it's custom build for Thundercat, so no production model will be available. I'm not 100 % sure if it's this bass, but a few weeks ago, one of his acoustic basses was destroyed when he was on an airplane. Probably happend when they loaded or unloaded it..

Yes Stig, that would be killer, especially if there was better access to the upper register.

That is too bad to hear, hope he had a back up. Hope that it isn't one of those custom shop out of the ballpark pricey "one-off's".

Sure thing, although I spotted a photo on the Ibanez website not so long ago that he picked up this beauty (which was taken AFTER the plane flight) so I guess they build a new one for him
