I believe I paid $175 for the Audere. It was a very easy install and well worth the money.
If this is one of them clubs with the numbers I would gladly take one. If not then just sit back and enjoy the pics. I wanted a BTB1000 since they first came out. Fast forward some 18 odd years or so and I finally found one thanks to my bank accounts nemesis reverb.

Thank you, I’m really digging the big singles that came in it. Totally worth the wait.
I finally gave some Ibbies a good shake and really enjoyed them. They've made the foray into six string fun for me.
Just a bit, but nothing I would notice without directly going back and forth between the two of them. The string spacing is more immediately noticeable to me, as well as the over all scale. The 33" is incredibly nice to play. It's also the first medium scale bass I've ever owned.
And keen eye on the 676. That one is a little hard to find info about on the internets. Ibanez has removed it from their site.

Has it occurred to you the thought of strung the 846V from E to F? Certainly this tuning would benefit from the 33" scale and tighter string spacing.
Not really. I like the tuning as is. I just recently moved to six strings from years of a five. Maybe if I can find a need for it down road...
Nice to know. I'm looking at the 846V, but they only bring in the 5 locally, it'll have to be an import, probably from the US.
I know they sell a hard case for it, but the Ibanez ones have never impressed me. Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket ABS units fit it well? I mainly want it for some insurance in shipping.
The only thing I noticed about my 846v was that I had to raise the neck pick up. I also had to raise the action on the B string slightly because it would sort of flutter.
Ibanez has a recommended case for it but from what Ive read, it’s very brittle. Gator makes a case with an LED/non LED option that looks promising. I can’t remember the exact name but it’s TSA ATA something along those lines.

The Premiums come with Gotoh GB707 tuners. They made them in various finishes: black, cosmo black, gold, and chrome.
Are you upgrading the 846 Volo?
If so, then I'd suggest getting the Gotoh GB350 Res-O-Lite tuners instead. Ibanez standard (non-Premium nor Prestige) series tuners, which are likely the knock off version of Gotoh GB7 tuners, turn out to be lighter in weight than the GB707. While GB350 Res-O-Lite, being the top of the line of GB series tuners, are indeed the lightest of them all.
IIRC, there were few older posts about swapping the knobs to wooden ones on this BTB thread.
My BTB685SC are currently strung with Dunlop Super Bright stainless steel 40/120. My BTB7 are currently carrying Dunlop Super Bright nickel plated steel 30/130T with .18p plain steel high-F string from D'Addario.
As stated previously, those tuners do come-in black.
I swapped the original black plastic knobs on mine with gold knobs capped with abalone to match the gold bridge and tuners and the abalone markers on the fretboard.
I use Dunlop Superbright Nickels on my BTB.
I have Naked Strings (Now defunct) on 2 of my BTBs, DR coated and Carvin/LaBella on the other 2. I'm fine with pretty much anything that doesn't break the bank but Rotosounds tore my fingers to hell so I stay away from them.
I run these on mine. CGCF tuning. The low C string is deader than dead already on my current set so I’ll have to pay close attention when I string it up again.
