It's on Ebay right now, and supposedly it was a custom job done for Limp Bizkit's bass player. It looks like a cross between the BTB555 and the BTB1205. The maple has what looks like a bit of spalting in it. If I hadn't already bought my 555 I'd jump on this thing in a heartbeat!
It said it had the standard Ibanez BTB pickups - this was pre Bart MK-1. I just think that bass is all kinds of gorgeous!bassbengoa said:WOWWhat pickups are those?
bassbengoa said:I like the BTB shape better 5 stringer or more. IMHO it looks wierd on a 4 string.
We have twins! I love the way you took those pictures against the background - nice job!full_bleed said:
I really liked the quilt on my BTB405, even though I'm not into black basses. I'm not sure how you could capture the quilt, unless maybe you used more room light and no flash on your camera.The_Ryst said:My bass actually has a beautiful quilt maple finish, it's a shame that it shows up straight black in pictures. How can I help this?
Now I'm envious!! Those 1206's are soooooo good looking! I'm sure it sounds amazing too! I might eventually get a 1205.Achey said:Pics of mine (not that great pics but a beautiful bass)
