Ibanez BTB33. 33" w/Ramp

So I found one of these used for a few hundred euros less than new. I've tried the model briefly (like a minute or two, without an amp) at a store and really liked how easy it was to play. I don't know if that's due to the ramp, shorter scale, narrower string spacing or all of them. As I'm more of a guitar player, my only bass at the moment is a passive Invalid Link Removed 4-string. I've owned a Cort Artisan 5-string with a 34" neck and the the low B-string on that felt floppy to me but I also don't have much need to go below the low E string most of the time. Because of this the Ibanez BTB33 was a lot more interesting as I actually enjoyed playing that extra high string.

Do you think I should get the BTB33? Right now it seems perfect for me even though I don't like how plain the top looks on that model but I do dig the BTB body shape otherwise. Those of you who have the bass, are there any drawbacks other than the pickups being a non-standard size?
