Yep bought it new in '76. Modded a bit over the years. I love I'll never get rid of it.

I had a red one in the 80s... my first real bass. I ended up defretting it, painting it 80s Mustang metallic grey and eventually sold it to a guitarist I knew.

I've since bought one like yours and it is STILL sitting in pieces waiting for time / motivation for me to refinish and hotrod it (delano pickups, kahler, brown tort binding, etc etc etc.

i got the revamped destroyer i had the x series in black no bineding it was lighter
but this one is good i get good tone and sound from it then again i like ibanez it's a matter of chioce

Just bought one of these. NOS in the box. Great fit and finish. Does not neck dive. Great "rock" tone. Only 120 of them were produced.

I bought one of these and it has become my favorite bass. It was set up perfectly and plays very well. I have been trying to replace it with something nicer but so far it has won every duel.

Really I can hardly believe how good it sounds. Much better than I expected. I ordered a new pickup before I got the bass and it is still in the box. I'm just not motivated to change it out because I like they way the stock pickup sounds.
