Ibanez equivalency question

Ok, this isn't my first post, I used to have another account, but it was deleted for non-use. Lol.

Anyway, I was wondering what the 4-string equivalency of the Ibanez K5 would be. I love that bass, but just don't want another 5-er.

Thanks in advance, and I just want to say, I love this website, and the variety of people, opinions, and backgrounds that post so much valuable information. Its nice to not just hear from the idiots at GC who pretend to know what they're talking about (no offense to those of you who are the contradiction).

EMGs sound more treble-y alot of metal bands use EMGs as they sound really good for droptunings and what not.

Bartoloni's are the opposite more mid range based they could be tweaked to sound good for just about anything with the right amp so can the EMGs.

Personaly as a punk/metal bassist I'd go with the SA series w/ EMGs for you though it's proably gonna be different.

As far as pre amps go I think the SR500 has more control over that category but, then again I never played a SA yet so I can't really say I'm purely speculating.
